COMP 3610 Operating Systems

This course studies the fundamental principles of the design and implementation of operating systems for modern computers, including the components of an operating system, and details of processes, concurrency, multithreading, CPU scheduling, synchronization, deadlocks, main and virtual memory, secondary storage, file systems, and security. Prerequisite(s): COMP 1320; and COMP 2113 or COMP 2115.
