FIN 7300 Applied Project in Professional Internship

Where academically warranted and with departmental approval, students will undertake a real-world project under the direction of a Faculty Supervisor, delivering a practical application that demonstrates professional-level mastery of the subject matter involved. This class is designed to allow students to gain valuable professional experience for credit (and not for pay) with an approved professional for profit or not-for-profit organization. Students are responsible for securing a sponsoring manager and arranging meetings with the Faculty Supervisor for initial approval, as well as midterm and final presentations. This advanced course may only be taken in the final semester of the MSF program and requires prior written approval from both the Faculty Supervisor and Project Sponsor.
