INF 1030 Intro. to Information Technolo

Core concepts relating to computer operating systems, programming languages, and office productivity software including spreadsheets and presentation software. Heavy emphasis placed on students gaining proficiency with the Visual Basic. Net programming language. Students are taught how to create Excel macros using Visual Basic for Applications. Coverage of number systems?binary and hexadecimal?is included to lay the foundation for more advanced courses in information systems. THIS COURSE HAS A NEW SUBJECT CODE OF IDS.
