JPH 1004 Foundations of Western Civilization: Jewish and Chinese Perspectives

This course explores fundamental developments in Western civilization through the lens of Jewish and Chinese traditions. Designed for Chinese university and advanced high school students, it introduces the Judeo-Christian roots of Western civilization and compares them with the enduring legacy of Chinese civilization. Students will experience an American-style academic environment while engaging in an intercultural study of history, philosophy, and society.
