MATH 3033 Signal Processing and Electronics III

The signal processing topics focus on random signals, including random vectors, estimation of statistical properties, covariance matrices, least-squares, linear regression and singular value decomposition, as well as an introduction to stochastic processes including stationarity, Gaussian signals and white noise. Topics in electronics include cascade stages, current mirrors and differential amplifiers. Students implement signal processing testbenches in Python, and use circuit simulation tools to design electronic circuits and evaluate their performance. Prerequisite(s): MATH 2032 and MATH 2461.
