MATH 4933 Research Seminar

Students will learn background material on topics chosen by the instructor (for example, a branch of pure mathematics, or an applied area such as the mathematics underlying machine learning or cryptography), and pursue research guided by the instructor on these topics. Presentations will be made by the instructor and invited outside experts, and then later also by the students themselves at the end of the semester. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1510 and MATH 2105.
