TAN 1930 Heroes in Tanakh

Students will analyze and compare Biblical characters who exemplify the standard for Biblical posterity. The list will include a selection of patriarchs and matriarchs, sons of Israel, Moshe, Aharon, Yehoshua, Judges, kings, and prophets. The qualities of Biblical heroes will be contrasted with those of Biblical villains, collected at Bavli Sotah 9A and Mishna Sanhedrin 11:1.
