BIB 6150 Transmitting the Sacred Text: Masorah, Nikkud, Te'amim, & Commentary

This course examines the textual makeup and transmission of the Hebrew Bible, exploring topics such as vocalization and cantillation, textual transmission and editions of the Bible, and the Masoretic notes. We will consider these topics both on their own terms and through the lens of Jewish biblical commentators.
