LAW 5790 Legal Research for LLMs

This course introduces LLM students to legal research concepts and skills for researching U.S. law. The course focuses on developing efficient research strategies using a four-step legal research process that prepares students for real-world research as a practicing attorney. As a result, this course differs in structure from doctrinal classes. It focuses on building skills through practice exercises that apply the research skills to real world legal research problems.
