MAR 2340 Introduction to Search Marketing (SEO, SMO and more)

This course is designed to help the student understand how the search advertising eco system works from marketers' perspective. The students will gain relevant knowledge, terminology and practical skills required to understand search marketing strategies used by businesses to grow revenue. In addition, the course will touch on web analytics, tracking mechanisms, automated advertising, attribution of marketing dollars in search, website page optimizations and more. Prerequisite(s): MAR 1001.
