SWK 9113 Anatomy of a Case Analysis

This course will be an integrated seminar in which theoretical perspectives will be put into practice. The course will explore the many different aspects of working with a particular case, from theory through to evaluation of a case, and culminating in a workshop presentation which will bring together the different aspects of this work. The purpose of this course is to deepen and refine the doctoral students' understanding of clinical theory, as well as evidence-informed intervention models designed to address specific presenting problems. Students will learn to critically assess, evaluate, and to present the conceptual and methodological approaches to their individual cases, using appropriate research to inform their work.
