The Associate of Arts (AA) in Liberal Arts at Yeshiva University provides students with a rigorous Liberal Arts and Jewish Studies education, supported by a welcoming community of staff and students. As a result of a carefully planned curriculum, students gain the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed. As part of the AA in Liberal Arts, students enroll in YU’s dual curriculum in which students take a full Jewish studies program in addition to their major courses. Jewish tradition provides the framework for consideration of ethical issues, an integral part of the University’s curriculum. In this cohort-based program, all AA students enroll in the same courses each semester, with the exception of Jewish Studies.
Graduates will have a choice of pathways. Students who graduate from the AA in Liberal Arts with a GPA of 3.0 or higher will have the opportunity to enroll in bachelor's programs at Yeshiva College and Stern College. Students who wish to pursue professional opportunities will be well equipped to do so.
