BIOL 3750 Medical Biochemistry

Reviews major human metabolic pathways with focus on biochemical alterations that accompany a wide range of human diseases and conditions. Emphasis on advanced methods of molecular medicine for diagnosis and treatment of genetic and metabolic disorders. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1012 and BIOL 1014; and CHEM 1046. CHEM 1213 is a recommended prerequisite or corequisite.
