ENGL 2901 Introduction to Women's Studies: Theory and Practice

This course introduces some of the issues and debates that characterize Women's Studies. Women's Studies itself is an academic discipline that grew out of the 20th century women's movement. It draws on many different disciplines in the humanities and the sciences in its efforts to describe and understand women's lives. (May be taught by faculty in other departments; required for the minor in Women's Studies.) Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1100 or ENGL 1200.
