ENGL 2902 Women and Literature

Writings by and about women from 1800 to the present. Novels, stories, poems, and nonfictional prose discussing changing attitudes toward women's roles in education, marriage, society, etc. May be offered in various forms, such as, American Women Writers, British Women Writers. May include works by Jane Austen, George Eliot, Virginia Woolf, Doris Lessing, and contemporary writers. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1100 or ENGL 1200.
