The year-long Advanced Research Seminar I and II are a continuation of the Research Seminar courses, in which students engage in advanced work on their doctoral research with the support of their faculty research advisors. Students learn how to implement knowledge and skills gained in prior research coursework to critically appraise research literature, refine study hypotheses, strengthen their data analytical plan, implement data analyses, and strengthen their scientific writing.
