Health and Behavior Analytics, MS

Overview

The Master of Science in Health and Behavior Analytics program aims to develop the skills necessary to measure, capture, manage, analyze, and visualize behavioral data to answer questions related to health and behavior. The program coursework is built on a foundation of graduate-level training in health psychology research methods. Students will complete their coursework with an internship, which will give them an opportunity to apply the behavioral data analysis skills they have developed over the course of the year in an industry, health care, or academic setting.

Program graduates will be well-prepared to develop assessments of human behavior and health, organize and analyze behavioral and health data, and visualize relationships between behavioral and health factors to answer important questions in academic, health care, industry, and public policy settings. This program will also provide a rigorous behavioral science background for students who desire to pursue doctoral level education in medicine, psychology, and other allied health professions.

Please note that the MS in Health and Behavior Analytics program does not prepare students for the practice of any licensed profession and as such, students may not engage in actions that are restricted to the scope of practice of licensed professionals.
