Mathematics, MA

Overview

The MA in Math at the Katz College of Science and Health provides the flexibility to customize your curriculum. In addition to traditional coursework, you may also enroll in special topics or design an independent study under the mentorship of senior faculty. You may also choose to focus on financial mathematics and take courses in the departments of Mathematical Sciences, Economics, Physics, and Computer Science.

Requirements (30 credits)

To earn an MA in Mathematics degree students are required to complete ten courses (30 credits) and a master’s thesis. Students may replace the thesis with a comprehensive exam.
