Post Graduate CASAC Certificate Program

The Post-Graduate CASAC Certificate Program is a non-credit bearing continuing education program tailored for professionals with a relevant master’s degree. Spanning 21 weeks, the program offers up to 130 hours of specialized training that meets New York State requirements for the Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) credential. 

The program delivers a flexible, in-depth educational experience that equips participants with the specialized skills needed to excel in addiction services. A CASAC credential is often required by agencies serving individuals with substance use disorders, including those offering Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid dependence, inpatient detoxification, and residential rehabilitation programs.
