DENT 6225 Endodontic Therapy II Lecture

This course builds on Endodontic Therapy I, advancing knowledge and skills in the biological basis and clinical practice of root canal therapy. Students study complex pulpal and periapical pathologies, advanced diagnostic techniques, retreatment strategies, and management of procedural complications. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based decision-making, digital imaging, and contemporary technologies including rotary and reciprocating systems, ultrasonic techniques, and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Students critically evaluate case studies and research to integrate advanced concepts into clinical care.
