Population-based approaches to preventing oral disease and promoting oral health. Emphasis on epidemiologic measures, surveillance, community needs assessment, program planning and evaluation, social determinants of health, health policy and ethics, risk-based prevention strategies (fluoride, sealants, tobacco cessation), interprofessional collaboration, and effective communication for diverse communities.
