DENT 6329 Oral Surgery II

This course advances surgical knowledge and skills developed in Oral Surgery I. Students will deepen their understanding of surgical flap design, exodontia, surgical management of impacted teeth, management of surgical complications, pre-prosthetic surgery, and introduction to implant site preparation. Emphasis is placed on patient assessment, treatment planning, risk management, and integration of surgical care into comprehensive dentistry. Instruction combines lectures, case seminars, and simulation-based exercises.
