DENT 6328 Periodontics Surgical

This course provides students with foundational knowledge and clinical principles of periodontal surgical therapy. Emphasis is placed on surgical anatomy, flap design, osseous recontouring, regenerative procedures, implant site preparation, and post-surgical management. Students integrate evidence-based decision-making, risk assessment, and patient communication in planning and evaluating surgical interventions. The block incorporates simulation-based skill development, case-based seminars, and literature analysis to prepare students for comprehensive patient care.
