SWK 6023 Advanced Groupwork Practice I

This course is designed to educate students on responsible social work practice with particular competence in the social group work method. The course builds upon the knowledge and skills acquired in foundations courses. This course focuses on understanding the need and purpose of a group. Prerequisite(s): SWK 6004, SWK 6100, SWK 6135, SWK 6201, SWK 6402 and SWK 6532; and SWK 6132 may be taken as prerequisite or corequisite or SWK 6133; or ACC (advanced standing). Corequisite(s): SWK 6535.
