SWK 6132 Philosophical and Ethical Foundations of Social Work

This course explores the theoretical foundation of social work from both philosophical and practical points of view. The class is designed to assist students in developing a philosophy of helping informed by the values and ethics of the profession. Prerequisite(s): SWK 6004, SWK 6100, SWK 6135, SWK 6201, SWK 6402, and SWK 6532; or ACC (advanced standing) or Sara Schenirer program option students or YC/Stern 3+2 students.
