SWK 6114 Introduction to Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy

This course explores the bridge between personal narratives, creativity, and the power of community. Students will gain an understanding of the principles and techniques of psychodrama, sociometry, and group psychotherapy. Using experiential methods, sociometry, role theory, and group dynamics, this course facilitates insight, personal growth, and integration on cognitive, affective, and behavioral levels. Course skills can be applied to social work practice with individuals, groups, and community.
