Yeshiva University welcomes students wishing to study at YU as non-matriculated or visiting students. Students may be undergraduates at another institution or high school students at one of Yeshiva University’s High Schools.
Undergraduate students enrolled and in good academic standing at a regionally accredited college or university are eligible to enroll as visiting, non-matriculated students during YU’s Summer Sessions.
A student’s application to be a visiting student will not be considered complete until the Office of Undergraduate Admissions has received the student’s transcript. If the student’s transcript is not received prior to the start of the semester, YU may decline the student’s registration.
Information about studying at YU as a visiting student and a link to the visiting student admissions application can be found here.
*Information for YUHS students is found at the bottom of this policy.
Important Information for all visiting students
Visiting students are limited to maximum of 12 credits total at YU.
Students remain eligible to register for 12 credits as long as they remain enrolled in consecutive semesters. Students who miss two semesters must reapply for non-matriculated/visiting status.
Visiting students are not eligible for financial assistance.
To register for a course with a prerequisite or registration restriction, students may need to provide proof to the academic department that requirements have been met.
Any student in need of accommodations due to a disability should contact the Office of Disability Services, https://www.yu.edu/student-life/resources-and-services/disability-services
