Appeal of Final Grade
If a student believes a grade is incorrect (for example, if it does not follow stated assessment procedures on the syllabus or assignment instructions), s/he must first meet with the instructor to request a review. Should this meeting be unsatisfactory, the student may next meet with the Program Director/Chairperson. If it is decided to change a grade, the instructor must follow the Grade Change process. Grades may only be changed with approval from the Dean’s Office of the respective school in cases where an error took place. The process concludes at the Office of the Registrar. Grievances must be filed within three months of the end of term. Grievances may not be filed after graduation.
