Undergraduate students (who are not on academic probation) may register for a maximum number of credits in the fall and spring term. The maximum number of allowable credits by campus is as follows:
Summer Course load
Undergraduates may register for a maximum number of credits during summer session:
A maximum of 4 credits may be taken during a 4-week period
A maximum of 7 credits may be taken during a 5-week period
A maximum of 8 credits may be taken during a 6-week period
Undergraduates may register for a maximum number of credits during YU summer session and outside institutions (with permission):
A maximum of 10 credits total may be taken during any YU summer session and at an outside institution.
Students should consult with their adviser prior to registering for summer classes.
